Faster Way To Fatloss FAQs

April 12, 2019

Happy Friday friends! Last week I shared my final Faster Way to Fatloss pics on Instagram and the questions starting pouring in! I thought it would be easier to dedicate a post to answer some of the most frequently asked questions, so they will all be in one spot!  Last week on the blog I shared several reasons why I love FWTFL and why the program worked for me. You can read my post here!  Make sure you stop by My Life Well Loved, Happily Hughes, Life Lutzurious, Dani Marie Krum, Walking in Memphis in High Heels and Stilettos & Diapers for more fitness posts!

The Faster Way to Fat Loss is a 6-week online fitness program (plus one week of prep), created by Amanda Tress, that focuses on increasing your metabolism and burning fat through carb cycling, intermittent fasting and tracking macro nutrients of your diet ? specifically fat, carbs and protein using My Fitness Pal.

Is it hard to do the Intermittent Fasting?

In my personal opinion, its not hard. I was really nervous about this, but Intermittent Fasting is just eating within an 8 hour window (for example 10am-6pm) and then allowing your digestive system to rest for 16 hours. I have found that IF can be tough if you don’t get all your macros in for the day though. Its really important that you are getting enough food in your 8 hour window, or you will find yourself hungry.

Are there any cheat days?

There aren’t “Cheat days’ per say, but you are able to work in a “treat” on leg day. Also you are able to sort of able to “cheat” as long as you are logging your food into your My Fitness Pal app and it still fits within your macro amounts for the day.

Can I have coffee while in my Intermittent Fasting Window and does it have to be black?

Yes! This was my own question when I first started too. You can have anything that is under 50 calories and is dairy-free. I typically will use almond milk or creamer and stevia in my coffee.

Is it safe to do while breastfeeding?

Yes! This is the number one reason why I decided to do this program. I wanted to lose my baby weight but didn’t want it to affect my supply. There are a few modifications that your coach will make for you if you are breastfeeding, but they did not hinder my weightless nor did they make my supply drop.

Can you drink alcohol while on FWTFL?

Yes! As long as you are logging your beverage and it fits within your daily macro allowance, you can. You also need to make sure you are consuming it during your 8 hour eating window as well.

Can I do my own workouts?

Yes, you can. Half of what you are paying for are the workouts though. You can also just follow their workout format and do your own workouts if you would like! I know a lot of people who have done this and still see results.

Do they send you a meal plan?

They don’t send you a plan that tells you what to eat at each meal, but they do tell you how to log your food and what your macro amounts should be. They do this so that you’re not limited to what you are eating, you are choosing your own foods are able to make good choices once the program is over.

How long is the program?

The program is a 6 week program, however the first week is just prep week. During prep week you will learn all about how to log your food and ask any questions you may have about the program. You will also start the week with a call from the program creator, Amanda Tress who will give you a great overview of the program.

How much does it cost to sign-up?

The program cost $199 for your first time.  $199 gives you an assigned coach and an entire portal full of information with workouts. I was a little hesitant about spending $199 when I first read about the program, but I knew if I paid for it, I would actually do it. I also told myself that it was really $33 a week when you break it down and that seemed reasonable in my head to be able to lose this baby weight I’ve been wanting to shed!

What an incredible difference in such a short span of time! I’ve been interested in intermittent fasting for a while now, as it seems to be a good way to get results without the bad side effects I’ve seen from other diet programs. This is the encouragement I needed!
