Soothe Your Baby’s Tummy Troubles With Mommy’s Bliss Digestive Support

March 19, 2019

When I had Sydney six months ago, I remember one of the nurses telling me (while Sydney was crying in our room), “When they cry it?s usually because of three things; they’re hungry, they’re gassy or they need a diaper change.” Even though this is my second time around being a Mom and I’ve done this all before, those nurse’s words have stuck with me to this day whenever I hear Sydney cry. Although this seems like common sense, it just goes to show you that digestive issues can be a big deal to these precious little babies.

A few months ago, I discovered a new brand: Mommy’s Bliss. I actually picked up some of their Vitamin D Organic Drops for Sydney at the recommendation of her pediatrician, and then found out that they make a variety of other products as well. Sydney has been such an easy baby so far and although she is generally a happy baby, we have experienced several nights of her screaming at her last feeding of the day. It took us a while to figure out that it was either gas or colic and we FINALLY (I wish we had thought of this sooner after several nights of frustration!) decided to use some of the Mommy’s Bliss Gas Relief Drops. We added some to her last bottle before bedtime to see if it would help, and it made a huge difference! The screaming finally stopped and we were happy that she finally got some tummy relief!

I was really hesitant to give Sydney any kind of supplement with her being so small, but the Mommy’s Bliss Gas Relief Drops are formulated with a baby-friendly dose of pediatrician-recommended simethicone, so I felt better knowing this beforehand. When I questioned her pediatrician about whether they were safe or not to use on her at such a young age, he also reassured me that they were safe to use with newborns. We also felt okay about using them since they don’t contain any alcohol or parabens either.

Another product that I had never used with Bennett was gripe water, though I remember reading about it in some of my online mom groups, but never used any with Bennett when he was a baby. My best friend who recently became a Mom mentioned she was using gripe water to help her baby when he had the hiccups. I had no clue there was anything I could give a baby to help with hiccups! There is seriously nothing more frustrating than when you have to put your baby down for a nap and they get the hiccups. I decided to give the Mommy’s Bliss Gripe Water a try and it worked! I would literally be changing Sydney’s diaper before a nap and she would start to hiccup. All I had to do was give her a little dropper full of the gripe water and they were gone! I so wish I had used this with Bennett, because he would ALWAYS get the hiccups and it would keep him awake. Did you know that the Mommy’s Bliss Gripe Water is the #1 selling supplement for infant gas and colic relief?? We loved their other products so much, I was excited to try their gripe water too. They actually make an original formula and a nighttime formula (both also crafted without alcohol or parabens just like their other products). We purchased the original formula and Sydney seemed to really like the taste of it; it?s made with organic ginger and fennel, and is safe for babies two weeks and older. The nighttime formula is made with organic ginger and fennel for gas, and chamomile, lemon balm and passion flower for sleep; and it?s safe for babies one month and older.

Mommy?s Bliss offers an array of mom-created products that are safe, effective, pediatrician-recommended and trusted by moms everywhere. I really love that the Mommy?s Bliss brand believes that simpler is better, so they craft their products specifically for little ones, using the purest formulas possible. They also choose organic ingredients when they can because they believe these ingredients are closer to nature. None of their products contain artificial colors, dairy, gluten, or soy, and are free from the eight most common allergens.

There are two other products that they make for tummy troubles as well: Constipation Ease and Probiotic Drops. I haven’t had a chance to use either of these with Sydney yet, but I do have them on hand! We are going to start using the Probiotic Drops in her bottles because I know how important gut health is and how good it can be for their immune systems. I recently discovered that they also make a Probiotic Drops + Vitamin D combination product that I want to try. Since we already use the Vitamin D Organic Drops, I will just pick this up instead next time we run out.? Here are some facts about Constipation Ease and the Probiotic Drops:

Constipation Ease

  • A gentle herbal liquid that safely and effectively eases occasional constipation and promotes regular bowel movements.
  • Made with prune juice, organic fennel and organic dandelion; no alcohol, parabens, or artificial flavors or colors.
  • Safe to use for babies over six months, great during transitions to solid food and helpful during potty training.

Probiotic Drops

  • A probiotic supplement drop that?s safe for newborns and helps build baby?s gut microbiome.
  • Only pure Lactobacillus rhamnosus GG ? the world?s most researched probiotic strain.
  • More than 1 billion Lactobacillus rhamnosus GG cells per serving.
  • Available in three varieties: Everyday Drops, Drops + Vitamin D and 15-Day Boost Drops.
  • Mommy?s Bliss also offers unflavored probiotic powder packs for when your children are out of newborn stages (six months and older) in convenient on-the-go packs.

After having two babies, I have learned how common tummy troubles can be. Keeping their little digestive systems in line is truly the secret to their happiness! I am so glad that I have found a brand like Mommy’s Bliss to help support my children with all of their digestive needs. It?s nice to know that the brand was created by a fellow mom, pediatric nurse, midwife and doula, who realized the importance of digestive support and providing high-quality products to babies and young children. You can purchase these products on Amazon.com! What are some ways you have helped your baby with gas or colic? I would love to hear your thoughts!
