My Favorite Maternity Clothes + a 25 Week Bumpdate

June 1, 2018

Top (maternity) and non-maternity version, c/o Pinkblush | Shorts (maternity, sold out, similar here) | Earrings | Shoes | Sunglasses

Hi there! I know it has been quite a while since I have posted (or even posted a pregnancy update), but this pregnancy has continued to kick my butt! I am finally feeling a little bit better at 25 weeks, but now I am HUGE and am starting to suffer all the aches and pains from having a large bump! Besides the aches and pains, I have been having a hard time finding anything that fits these days!? I told myself that I wouldn’t get too many maternity clothing this time since this will be my last pregnancy, but I have been dying to find clothes that fit, are comfortable and also are cute! One of my favorite maternity clothing shops is Pink Blush! I discovered them three years ago when I was pregnant with Bennett. With all the adorable spring and summer clothing coming out (and not being able to fit into any of it!) I wanted to feel good and stylish and decided to do that by picking out some items from the Pink Blush site that were super cute and colorful!

My favorite thing about Pink Blush is that they offer both maternity and non-maternity items. This makes it easy to shop through your entire pre-pregnancy and postpartum journey.? For instance, I wore this maxi dress postpartum with Bennett and actually just wore it to a baby shower the other day at 6 months pregnant! I HAD to get this off-the-shoulder top that I am wearing in these pictures today because I loved the the summery print and all of the colors (also available in a non-maternity version) Along with this top, I got this gorgeous floral maxi dress (also available in a non-maternity version) and this Ivory Dress which has been perfect to wear on a casual, daily basis!

Everyone always tells you that you show so much faster with your second pregnancy, but I never fully understood that until I experienced it on my own. Not only do you show sooner, but it also means you start to experience some of the negative symptoms sooner too! Right now I am probably the size I was with Bennett at 30 weeks, which for me means tailbone/SI joint pain! I recently started feeling this pain and need to start seeing a chiropractor before it gets any worse!

25 Week Bumpdate Below:

Size: Baby is as big as a head of cauliflower!

Baby’s Gender: GIRL (still working on her name)

Symptoms: Still suffering from nausea and throwing up (although not as bad as it has been!), sharp pains down my tailbone and overall uncomfortable feeling while sleeping, sitting etc.

Weight Gained: I’ve gained about 15-20 lbs! I’m 5 lbs heavier right now with this baby then I was with Bennett at the same time.

Doctor Appointment update: I had to go back for another anatomy ultrasound about 2 weeks ago because they couldn’t get a good view of her heart the first time (due to the position she was in). Everything looked great! Next up will be my glucose test in two weeks. I plan on eating jelly beans again like I did with Bennett instead of drinking that gross Glucola drink!

Currently working on: Transitioning Bennett to a big boy bed, potty training and getting the baby’s nursery together.

Food Cravings: a few weeks ago I was craving regular, Chickfila Chicken sandwiches and McDonald’s hot fudge sundaes, but now I am completely over them!

Favorite thing this month: Getting a prenatal massage from the Woodhouse Day Spa-Avalon. You can read my recap, here!

What I’m looking forward to: Getting a 3D ultrasound in 5 more weeks so we can see baby girl’s face! I’m also looking forward to hitting the third trimester.

I hope you all had a wonderful Memorial Day Weekend and thank you for taking the time to read my blog!

So many updates! I’m sure you’re doing your best to adjust to this new season that you’re in – especially since you have another little one on your hands as well! I bet that massage was miraculous – and I can’t wait to hear the name you choose for baby girl!
