Ok, I own a lot of skirts, but this one has to be my new favorite. When I saw it on the Obviously Chic website, I knew I had to have it. I mean, a girl can never have enough flamingo apparel in her closet, am I right?! Speaking of Obviously Chic, I seriously feel like their items were personally created for me! Their Daisy Mae line includes brightly colored hoodies, joggers, maxi dresses and more! If you are feelin’ the flamingos this summer, you’re in luck because they also have this flamingo top and flamingo dress available. If you don’t fancy the flamingos, they have plenty of other adorable prints likes watermelons, bees, popsicles and ice cream (swoon!) available on a bunch of different items.

Being a small? business owner myself, y’all know how much I love supporting fellow family businesses, and Obviously Chic is just that. The company was started by a Canadian girl named Jess who was looking for cute clothes at affordable prices and “wanted to remember the women who have curves, boobs and a butt and a less than perfect stomach after blessing the world with their kids.” I read this the other day on their website and fell in love with both their clothes and their story. I really like it when a company is real and tries to accommodate all different women in shapes and sizes and wants to make them feel beautiful.

Obviously Chic has a ton of items on sale right now as part of their “$25 Dollar Days” (including this skirt) or you can use my coupon code, “SewSarah” at checkout to get 40% off your order!! Using my coupon would make this skirt around $18 USD, so don’t walk, RUN over to their site before it sells out. If you don’t snag a skirt, be sure to use my coupon on some of their other ridiculously cute items, like this Watermelon Glow top that I recently posted on Instagram.? Happy Shopping my friends!

  1. I was just considering the purchase of a flamingo-print skirt the other day, and you may have sold me! It’s so cute. I love the concept of Obviously Chic as well. So neat that she’s keeping all those different body shapes in mind!

  2. Could you be any CUTER?! I love the pops of turquoise with the pink. A serious show stopper look!

  3. This outfit is so stinkin’ cute! I love how you’re a teacher and still try to incorporate style in your outfits. I wish some of my teachers dressed up LOL! You inspire me to make my closet more colorful =)
