I love being a Georgia girl and am extremely proud to be residing in the good ol’ peach state! If you are just following me, you will know that I had been living up in New England for about 10 years and moved home almost two years ago. After college, I moved up to Boston to do an internship in corporate fitness. I moved back south a few years after that, but really missed New England. I stayed in Georgia for about a year and then moved back up to the Boston area for about seven years. I bought a home up there in New Hampshire on a tiny little lake and then met my husband a few months later. I really wanted to move back home once we had Bennett, and a job fell in my lap literally a few weeks before I had Bennett. At the time it was a crazy whirlwind for me. I just had a new baby, got a new job and was going to have to sell my house in New Hampshire that I loved so much. Getting to be near family again was definitely worth all of it though!

Anyways, when I saw this peach cross-body bag, I knew I had to represent my peach state! The bag is literally shaped like a can peaches (it even has a metal pull tab on the top!) so? I love rocking it for the summer! I really love that it has two tiny magnolias on the front of it as well. Magnolias are not the state flower (its the Cherokee Rose!) but magnolias are definitely a southern thang! I’m usually not a fan of blush-colored items, but I figured having accessories in the color is the perfect way to rock the trend without actually having to wear a ton of the color.

  2. The diagonal seams on that dress are so unique and have such a nice drape.
It is so neat how things sometimes just work out with moving, my husband and I are getting ready to move back home and we are so, so excited!
