Bennett’s Shirt and bowtie: c/o Little Me, Shoes: sold out, similar here, Shorts

Happy Easter, friends! My husband had to work this weekend in the Emergency Room so Bennett and I have been hanging out with some family while he works. Bennett got the cutest outfit from Little Me that I couldn’t wait for him to wear today! This little set??comes with the button-up anchor shirt, seersucker pants and the cutest little polka dot bow-tie! Its been hot here in Georgia and since Bennett was going to be running around with his cousin and hunting for eggs, I opted to put him in some khaki shorts instead.

I have realized for both Christmas and now Easter that I should be taking advantage of this time with regards to spending money for a stocking or a basket. Bennett is not quite two years old and still doesn’t really quite understand the concept of Santa Claus or the Easter Bunny yet. I still had fun watching him go through his basket this morning though. What in the world do you put in a two year old’s Easter basket? Well, here is what?Easter Bunny? I put in his basket: a plush Pluto dog, sidewalk chalk, a Mickey Roadster car, Organic Cheese Bunnies, Peeps on a stick, two books and a Frozen Crayola Magic Pad and Pen.

I’m still not ready to let him eat lots of candy yet (can you tell from the organic bunny crackers? lol) but I am sure next year will be a lot different. I hope you all had a wonderful day with your family and friends! What a great day to remember that Jesus died for us and rose from the dead! I am so thankful every day for His sacrifice and for the life that I have. Happy Easter!
