Dress: Banana Republic (c/o), Shoes: Banana Republic (c/o), Earrings

I don’t know what it is about the current off the shoulder trend that has me drooling over every single OTS top or dress I see lately, but I like it! Maybe I am channeling my inner 80’s child (ok, so technically I am a 90’s child, but I was born in the early 80’s!) and am missing my favorite cut up sweatshirt that hung off my shoulder and complimented my leg warmers quite nicely! I don’t know what it is, but I sure hope this trend sticks around for a little while longer. I’ve been rocking the trend since last summer, but now there are so many different styles to choose from thta it makes shopping a little more difficult.

A few posts back I mentioned my favorite floral dress for Easter, but now I am madly in love with this one shoulder ruffled maxi dress and might have to wear this one instead. Its so light and comfortable that I literally could wear it all day long. I saw these strappy orange kitten heels and knew they would be the perfect pop of color for this dress. You know how I love a good pair of brightly colored shoes, so these were right up my alley! I also love the height of these heels (2 inches!) and knew that I could manage wearing them all day without my feet killing me. Once I found these shoes, I came across these earrings and loved how the beads on the inside of the flowers were a bright orange that matched my shoes.

The great part about this one shoulder dress is that you don’t have to worry about the sleeves falling down or popping up. This is seriously a Mom’s dream come true when you’re trying to carry around a toddler and still look cute while doing it. Below I have rounded up some of my favorite off the shoulder and one shoulder looks that I am dying to get my hands on this spring. Also? everything at Banana Republic is 40% off right now (until 4/1 online and 4/3 in stores) so be sure to take advantage of their awesome sale!

I just LOVE the colors in this post!! Those earrings are just stunning, too! I’m a big fan of the one-shoulder tops and dresses too – makes me much less self-conscious about my top getting pulled down!

WOW Sarah, what a gorgeous look! I have resisted going to Banana Republic in a while but I think I need both that stunning ruffled asymmetric maxi dress and those shoes (both in orange and in nude). Love the gorgeous statement earrings, too. You styled this to perfection beautiful Sarah. And I agree comfort is key for a mom!

Welcome by this Thursday and every Thursday and linkup with me, pretty lady. Thanks.

I did not get this dress Sarah, I got two other ones instead that were either on sale or promo. But I did try this on and loved it. It is on my wish-list for sure. You styled it to perfection like I said. I featured this look in my latest Thursday Moda favorites, Sandy! Loved it!! Come take a peak on the link below. Thanks. Hope you had a great Easter!

I don’t think people often consider stripes like these as elegant, but this dress totally proves that they can be. Beautiful outfit, you look lovely. (And those earrings are stunning on their own!)
