SHOP THE POST:

This boy and I are at it again. I’m a softy for plaid, so when I saw this patchwork plaid button-up in Bennett’s size I just had to get it for him. This made it super easy for me to match, since I have about a million plaid items in my closet. I wasn’t going to add this navy cable-knit vest to Bennett’s outfit (seemed a bit matchy-matchy to me), but the temperature has dropped here in Georgia in the last two days, so I didn’t want him to freeze.  Don’t get me wrong, it was still “mild” here considering its January, but 49 degrees with wind feels awfully cold right now to us native Georgians. We are actually supposed to get snow here this weekend! (I’ll believe it when I see it). I purchased this ruffle vest back in the fall and it has been one of my favorite purchases of 2016! I seriously wear it all of the time. I am quite obsessed with the ruffles and Its now on MAJOR sale for almost half the price I paid for it, here.

Bennett didn’t seem to mind the weather or the wind, because as soon as I put him in the car, he started crying. He loves being out and about and having the freedom to roam around. Bennett’s patchwork shirt reminds me of one of my favorite Vineyard Vine dresses that I posted a long time ago. I titled my old dress post “Nantucket” because that’s all I think about when I see patchwork plaid like his shirt. Speaking of Nantucket plaid, I have been eyeing these plaid running shoes and plan on getting them in the next week or two! What do you think? I really want to get back into running again. Thanks so much for taking time to read my post. I hope y’all have a fabulous weekend!
