When I found out that I was having a baby boy, I’m not going to lie, I was slightly disappointed. It wasn’t so much about that I was having a boy that?was disappointing, but it was the fact that I had NO IDEA what I was going to do with a baby boy. I am hoping that most moms who first find out they are having a boy for their first baby feel this way, so that I don’t sound like an awful person right now. After the initial shock of finding out I would have a son for the rest of my life, I started to actually get really excited about it. One thing that I did when I was pregnant was come up with five outfits (actually six, I posted this other one right after Bennett was born!) for moms and their baby boys to twin with!

I recently walked into an Old Navy store and saw a lot of outfits for women that also came in a toddler or little girl size. I was so disappointed that I couldn’t buy a matching counterpart for my own kid since he’s a boy. I decided to come up with my own matching (or somewhat matching) outfits for Moms and their little boys. This is one of the first outfits that I came up with. I figure this will be the only time in Bennett’s life that he will ever let me dress him to match me, so I am taking full advantage of this time while I can. ?I really love mom and son?baby?toddler twinning and since everyone always tells me Bennett is my mini-me, I love it even more. Here is a picture of Bennett a few months ago and a picture of me when I was younger. What do you think? Do you think we look alike?
