Dress: c/o Borough, Shoes, Necklace, Sunnies

I recently discovered the most darling?brand of shift dresses with prints inspired by Charleston’s southern culture, Borough. Borough takes its name from different downtown boroughs in downtown Charleston, South Carolina neighborhoods that each have a distinct charm. These dresses come in the cutest prints (that are hard for this southern girl to resist!) and styles, so I had a tough decision to make when choosing which dress to get. My other favorite prints are the Borough Blooms print and the House Hunting print. ?Each print comes in five different shift dress styles: sleeveless, short sleeve, 3/4 sleeve, a tunic and a sleeveless maxi.

Not only did I choose this print because of all the cuteness (I mean, bow ties, bicycles and bulldogs? ) but I really loved the cut of this dress. The dresses are made of an oversized organic cotton that are knitted, printed, cut and sewn locally. Keeping production local and continuing the Carolina textile heritage is a core value for this company. When I received the dress in the mail, I was amazed at how soft and luxurious the cotton felt. The dresses fit true to size and once you put it on, you’ll never want to take it off!
