What to Wear Postpartum + PinkBlush Giveaway!

Dress: c/o PinkBlush, Shoes: old,  Bennett’s outfit, Sunglasses: c/o Ditto,

Hello there! I hope you had a wonderful weekend! I have been busy trying to put together a birthday party for my son Bennett, who will be one in another two weeks. I still can’t believe he has been in our lives a WHOLE year! I figured since he’s almost
a year old, its probably time I get back in shape. I wanted to give myself at least a year to get back in shape and with working full-time and pumping four times a day, it has been nearly impossible to get to the gym. Not only is there no time, but when
I work all day its hard not to want to spend all of my free time hanging with my sweet boy.

I am still rocking my postpartum bod these days and wanted to tell you about some pieces in my wardrobe that have helped me disguise my “soft” areas over the past year. Early on it was hard to find clothing that was both nursing  friendly and also
not too tight in all the wrong areas. I have found that one of the best things you can wear postpartum are pleats. This pleated dress from PinkBlush would be perfect to wear while pregnant, but is also great to wear postpartum. The pleats are really good at camouflaging certain areas.  I love PinkBlush, a Women’s Online
Boutique. They offer a variety of cure dresses for women and  I feel like all of their items transition so well during a mother’s journey. Another pleated item that I wore a TON after I had Bennett was this pleated top
Over the past year I have also been wearing a lot A-line dresses.  This style of dress can help hide the midsection, and if it had buttons for easy access to pumping/nursing it was a bonus! You can see a few that I wore here and here. Also be sure to get any flutter style dresses you can find that drape over the front, like this one.
Another tip I can give you if you’re feeling self-conscious about your new hot Mom bod, is to layer with a vest. I wore my military vest so much throughout
this past year. Seriously, a military vest can be worn all year long.

So I hope this was a little helpful for all you mamas out there, and definitely be sure to check out my list of Postpartum Undergarments that Every Mom Needs ! I have teamed up with PinkBlush Boutique to give away a $50 shop credit to one of my readers! See rafflecopter below to enter!

  1. Sarah he is so darling!! And he looks exactly like you! What a gift(: I can't believe he is almost one already!! I didn't know this shop carried regular clothing too! They have some amazing floral dresses! I love the coral floral dress – perfect for our trip to Charleston this summer! Just a little note from a mom of a teen – it does go very fast. But it gets better every day. I always fret the changes and growth of my daughter, but I have enjoyed her more every year. Blessings, Susan
