Bennett’s Feeding Frenzy + Giveaway

April 5, 2016

Bennett is now 11 months old (seriously…where the heck did the past year  go?) and now that he is eating 3 meals and 3 snacks a day, I wanted to to share a few of my favorite products with you. One company that I was recently introduced to, is Silikids. Silikids makes silicone products that are a great alternative to plastic products. All of their products are easy to use, wipe clean and are dishwasher safe!
Firsts, lets start with bibs. Bennett now hates them and and has learned to pull the velcro bibs off whenever he feels like it. I have bought a few nylon bibs for strictly feeding from Target, but he takes those off too. I recently got a Silibib from the company Silikids, and it is the best!  is designed to lay flat (with a pocket at the bottom to catch any pieces that usually end up in his lap). The best part is that Bennett can’t pull it off, because it has a silicone snap in the back.
Two other silicone products that I use from Silikids are the Siliskin Reusable Snack bags and the Silimap. It is ridiculous how many plastic freezer bags and plastic sandwich bags that I go through when packing up Bennett’s baby bag for the day. The Siliskin bags can be written on with washable markers, and can be warmed up in the microwave (think steamed veggies!)  I got the Silimap, because I needed something to put on tables at restaurants that was easy to clean. I hated pulling off the sticky labels on the disposable placemats and hated wasting them whenever we went out to dinner. the Silimap is a great alternative. I know once Bennett gets older he will appreciate it more too, because I can teach him about all of the 50 states. The map can also be written on with crayons, markers or pens and then wiped clean.

The next products I want to try is the Silikids drinkware collection. They have silicone straws, straw tops, and sippy cup tops that make a great alternative to plastic sippy cups.

Lets talk about actual snacks. I had been giving Bennett the same organic baby food pouches and puffed snacks over and over again (being a first time mom, I was super nervous to give him anything else) but I recently discovered NurturMe foods and have added some of their foods and snacks into Bennett’s rotation.
NurtuMe foods are all certified-organic, dried fruit and veggie meals that help increase the growth and overall wellness of babies and toddlers. They make Quinoa infant cereals (Bennett loves the quinoa sweet potato and raisin cereal) baby food, Yum-a-Roo’s toddler snacks, Quinoa Squares and Organic Puffed Crackers.  Besides being organic, their products are also gluten-free, non-GMO and kosher, with no added preservatives, sugars or salts.

I have partnered with both Silikids and NurturMe to give one lucky reader the ULTIMATE feeding gift pack that will include:
