Dress: c/o Shabby Apple, Shoes: Michael Kors (old, similar here), Sunglasses: Versace
Shabby Apple sure knows the way to my heart with all their gingham! Shabby Apple’s spring/summer line has so much gingham (like the dress I wore here when I was pregnant) that it makes it very difficult to pick out a favorite! I love this yellow gingham seersucker maxi dress ( it also comes in green!) The skirt is super long so I had to wear a high pair of wedges with it, but the cross-wrap style of the dress was super flattering around the waist. I also liked that I was able to adjust the sizing a bit in that area by just tightening the sash.
Shabby Apple has some amazing new dresses in gorgeous jewel tones. The bright purple, pink and green colors are stunning, and this plaid dress is also one of my favorites! They also have an adorable swim line this season, and some of the one-pieces are way too cute! (I wanted one this spring, but they came out when I was super pregnant so I was unsure about sizing) I had to include my son in my last pic with his yellow gingham so we could do some Mommy/Son twinning!
One of the greatest things about Shabby Apple is their belief in women empowerment. Over 90% of the company is employed/run by females, and they strive to provide generous maternity leave (something I can completely appreciate now that my own maternity leave will be ending soon!) and flexible schedules to help women become leaders of this world. Another way that they do this is, is by donating a portion of their proceeds to charities and organizations that help women in less developed countries. There’s really nothing better than a company that has amazing clothing and also supports women! I encourage you to check out their website, because I know you will fall in love!
