Since Easter was yesterday, I guess that means it’s officially spring. Well, spring could have fooled me, because its been in the 40’s here and the snow is still melting. It’s hard to see all those pictures on Instagram of the warm weather, blooming flowers and all the cute springtime outfits while I sit here and watch the dirty snow melt. I have decided I am just going to dress like its spring and hope it follows suit. This gingham dress from Shabby Apple is just one of my favorite pieces from their new spring collection. They have a ton of gingham fabrics this spring, so I am completely smitten with so many of their new items.
One of my favorites include this Park Avenue Skirt . I am also swooning over the Gramercy Dress that comes in purple, pink and green. If you’ve never heard of Shabby Apple before, I definitely recommend checking them out. One of the greatest things about their company is their belief in women empowerment. Over 90% of the company is employed/run by females, and they strive to provide generous maternity leave and flexible schedules to help women become leaders of this world (something I can truly appreciate as I approach my own first maternity leave) Another way that they do this is, is by donating a portion of their proceeds to charities and organizations that help women in less developed countries.
Dressing this bump has been fun, but I am ready to be back to wearing my normal clothes again. I have teamed up with my favorite Mamas-to-be again this month to bring you some springtime maternity fashion. We are all getting so close to the end of our pregnancies and I am looking forward to what is to come for all of us! I also have a “Mommy and Me” look planned with a dress from Shabby Apple coming up, so stay tuned!
