So I was seeing Tieks everywhere, and all of my friends who own them talk about how great they are, so I finally got a pair for myself. I had a really hard time choosing which ones to get, but my top choices were the red patent, the cobalt blue, the hot pink and the leopard. Knowing how much I wear leopard and that they will go with everything (hey, leopard is a neutral, right?) I knew adding the leopard Tieks to my closet would be a good decision.
When my Tieks arrived in the mail, they arrived in a beautiful, bright turquoise box, topped with a gorgeous coral flower. Could my shoes really be in there? The box was tiny, so it was hard to believe shoes could actually fit inside! My leopard Tieks were indeed inside, and they were folded up all nice and neat. Along with my Tieks, there was a small foldable black pouch to hold my shoes and also a turquoise foldable sack that you can put them in when you travel. So far, I was really impressed with new shoes.
I decided to put my Tieks to the true test, by wearing them to school the next day. I walk all over school all day long, so I knew if they could pass this test, they would be my new favorite shoes. I wore them all day and found them to be very comfortable. Tieks doesn’t have half sizes and they suggest you size down (I wear a 7.5, so I got a size 7). I still think that my Tieks could use some stretching, but overall, they were pretty wonderful. My Tieks were very supportive unlike all of the other flats that I own. I hate wearing ballet flats, because they have no support in them and I literally feel like I am walking on the bare ground. Tieks have a sturdy and supportive built-in insole that didn’t make me feel like I was wearing flats at all! Now I am addicted and want Tieks in every color! If you have been on the fence about buying a pair, take the plunge, because you wont be sorry!
I do want to mention that the tunic I am wearing in this photo is from a cute little boutique I discovered this summer, Hazel and Chic Boutique. Hazel and Chic is an online boutique located in the Nashville, TN area, and I thought it was really cool that the owner understands that people can be hesitant about buying clothing online. Hazel and Chic offers customers in the Nashville area three ways for customers to try on their clothing before they buy; through trunk shows, private appointments and pop-up shops, customers can have the personal shopping experience of their choosing. Be sure to check out their website for trendy and affordable clothing. Thanks for reading!
I want a pair so badly but they are not in my budget. Glad you reviewed them because when I do save i want to know my tootsies will be comfy! Love this outfit per usual!
I have been hearing about these Tieks also but no reviews on them yet. Thanks for this though. You paired it really well in this outfit. Yup, leopards are the new neutrals. lol.
