Shabby Stripes

Happy Hump Day! I am so excited to finally be wearing fall colors! I am really loving plaid, stripes and leopard this season. The weather up here in New England dropped off significantly this week, so I am already wearing a jacket in the mornings and will be adding leggings to a lot of my dresses very shortly.
I recently discovered Shabby Apple and I really adore all of their clothing. Their clothing reminds me of Anthropologie, but their prices are definitely more affordable. Shabby Apple’s clothing has a vintage-inspired look to it,  along with a classy feel. One of my favorite new items that they just got in, is this maxi skirt.
One of the greatest things about their company, is their belief in women empowerment. Over 90% of the company is employed/run by females, and they strive to provide generous maternity leave and flexible schedules to help women become leaders of this world. Another way that they do this is, is by donating a portion of their proceeds to charities and organizations that help women in less developed countries. There’s really nothing better than a company that has amazing clothing and also supports women! I encourage you to check out their website, because I know you will fall in love!

This dress is amazing!! Seriously Sarah, you are a style maven! And I am a firm believer that women can do it all if they an create a flexible work schedule! We have to be willing to work crazy hours, but I would not trade my crazy schedule for anything!! I have never regretted being home with my girl. Go Shabby Apple! Susan
