Well summer vacation is officially over. Today was the first day back at school, and the kids come back on Wednesday. I had a great final weekend though, as my husband and I flew to Seattle for two days and then drove down to Vancouver, Canada for two days. I ran my first half marathon on Saturday, the Lululemon Seawheeze and it was awesome! I felt amazing the whole way (until the very end when my husband made me sprint!) and the course was breathtaking. We were able to see a lot of Vancouver while on the course, and about 5 miles of it was on the Seawall which was absolutely gorgeous. I am a little sore today, but am so happy I finally completed a half marathon.My husband and I are now thinking about doing the Atlanta Half Marathon on Thanksgiving, but we shall see!
These photos were actually taken in downtown Vancouver. It was really great to get some shots in some new areas (although I had to compete for space as people from the Anime convention were getting their pictures taken all around me!) Ahh We visited Vancouver last summer and it is amazing!! We did the Grouse Grind. I thought I would die but the scenery at the end was the most gorgeous I have ever seen! We loved Vancouver! This dress is gorgeous! Great boutique with fun pieces ! Have a great week at school! Susan
